Soft Rush (Juncus effusus) is a bold, upright native rush with smooth, cylindrical green stems that form dense clumps in wet conditions. It thrives in full sun to part sun and consistently wet soils, making it ideal for rain gardens, pond edges, and low areas. Highly adaptable and structurally striking, it provides year-round interest and important habitat in wetland plantings.
